Hey students! It's hard to believe that you're in your Spring semester of school eh? Next thing you know it'll be Summer then Fall and off to college! There is plenty of time to find a few more scholarships and I wanted to let you all know about this new one:

We just launched a new $5,000 scholarship, exclusively for US
students pursuing a degree that will help combat nursing home abuse (full
scholarship details at: http://www.nursinghomeabuse.
cover non-tuition related expenses such as rent, childcare, textbooks,
utilities and groceries for the 2012-2013 academic year. The application window
is January 15th through February 15th.

Net Price Calc Challenge

The US Department of Education has launched a student video challenge contest to help increase public awareness of the net price calculators now available on postsecondary institutions' websites. The contest is for high school and college students to produce short videos highlighting why net price calculators are a valuable resource for students and families in the college selection process. The top three contestants will each win a $1,500 cash prize. Scholarship due March 1, 2012
Don't forget the Demonstrative Needs Scholarship Fund is due March 1, 2012. You have to have the application submitted and the other paperwork needs to be turned in by that date as well like references and the FAFSA. So do not wait until the end of February to get all this accomplished. We recommend to start now and complete your application, get started on the FAFSA and contact your references. It pays to get done early!
